Abstract: Study monitored seasonal development of endemic Antarctic Desmarestiales, of Adenocystis utricularis, an Antarctic-cold temperate member of the order Dictyosiphonales and of the endemic Antarctic Ascoseira mirabilis (Ascoseirales) in a two-year culture experiment under fluctuating daylengths mimicking daylength conditions on King George Island.
