Record #104714:

Seasonal and inter-annual variations in Antarctic sea ice as mapped by radar altimetry / Seymour W.C. Laxon.

Title: Seasonal and inter-annual variations in Antarctic sea ice as mapped by radar altimetry / Seymour W.C. Laxon.
Author(s): Laxon, Seymour W. C.
Date: 1990.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1990.), Vol. 17(10) (1990)
Abstract: Data obtained by means of Geosat radar altimetry was used for mapping, November 1986 to January 1989. Comparison with total Antarctic sea-ice extents derived from Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer shows good agreement during freezeup period but significant differences during later part of melt period.
