Record #104709:

[Sublimation rate of collected blowing snow in a Cyclone type collector] / Takeshi Sato.

Title: [Sublimation rate of collected blowing snow in a Cyclone type collector] / Takeshi Sato.
Author(s): Sato, Takeshi.
Date: 1990.
Language: Japanese.
In: Seppyo : Journal of the Japanese Society of Snow and Ice. (1990.), Vol. 52(2) (1990)
Abstract: Calculated on basis of energy balance of snow in collector. Sublimation rate increased with increase of air temperature and with increase of transfer coefficient for sensible heat, which is close to that for water vapour. Rate also shown to decrease with increase of relative humidity of air. Results consistent with experimental data.
Notes:

Seppyo : Journal of the Japanese Society of Snow and Ice. Vol. 52(2) :91-98 (1990).

English summary, p. 98.

Keywords: 551.578.462 -- Snow cover, ablation.
E10 -- Glaciology: snow and avalanches.
SPRI record no.: 104709
