Relationships among depth to frozen soil, soil wetness, and vegetation type and biomass in tundra near Bethel, Alaska, U.S.A. / Michael F. Gross, Michael A. Hardisky, James A. Doolittle, Vytautas Klemas.

Title: Relationships among depth to frozen soil, soil wetness, and vegetation type and biomass in tundra near Bethel, Alaska, U.S.A. / Michael F. Gross, Michael A. Hardisky, James A. Doolittle, Vytautas Klemas.
Author(s): Gross, Michael F.

Date: 1990.
In: Arctic and Alpine Research. (1990.), Vol. 22(3) (1990)
Abstract: Reports sampling of vegetation in three types of vegetation habitat (upland, wet meadow, and lake) in southwestern Alaska, measurement of above- and below-ground biomass and depth of frozen soil. Consistent relationships established indicating possible future role for remote sensing in studies of carbon cycle etc. in tundra areas.
