Record #104672:

Balloon observations of nitric acid aerosol formation in the Arctic stratosphere: 1. gaseous nitric acid / H. Schlager, F. Arnold, D. Hofmann, T. Deshler.

Title: Balloon observations of nitric acid aerosol formation in the Arctic stratosphere: 1. gaseous nitric acid / H. Schlager, F. Arnold, D. Hofmann, T. Deshler.
Author(s): Schlager, H.
Arnold, F.
Hofmann, D.
Deshler, T.
Date: 1990.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1990.), Vol. 17(9) (1990)
Abstract: Reports case study of nitric acid trihydrate aerosol formation in winter stratosphere using balloon-borne mass spectrometer and aerosol counter techniques. Nitric acid aerosols play important preparatory role in ozone destruction by halogens.
Notes:
