Record #104376:

Volume and routing of late-glacial runoff from the southern Laurentide ice sheet / James T. Teller.

Title: Volume and routing of late-glacial runoff from the southern Laurentide ice sheet / James T. Teller.
Author(s): Teller, James T.
Date: 1990.
In: Quaternary Research. (1990.), Vol. 34(1) (1990)
Abstract: Volume and routing of meltwater helped shape land's surface and played part in evolution of late-glacial climate. Computerized model was prepared to quantify meltwater generation from seven drainage areas along southern side of ice sheet at 500-year time slices between 14 and 8 ka BP. Nearly all waters reaching oceans flowed through St Lawrence, Hudson, or Mississippi river valleys. Estimates are presented.
