Record #104375:

Radiocarbon analyses from Cincinatti, Ohio, and their implications for glacial stratigraphic interpretations / Thomas V. Lowell, Kevin B. Savage, C. Scott Brockman, Robert Stuckenrath.

Title: Radiocarbon analyses from Cincinatti, Ohio, and their implications for glacial stratigraphic interpretations / Thomas V. Lowell, Kevin B. Savage, C. Scott Brockman, Robert Stuckenrath.
Author(s): Lowell, Thomas V.
Savage, Kevin B.
Brockman, C. Scott.
Stuckenrath, Robert.
Date: 1990.
In: Quaternary Research. (1990.), Vol. 34(1) (1990)
Abstract: Shows that care must be exercised when evaluating single measured age from single geologic setting, using, as example, series of radiocarbon ages from one glaciated site. Ages span period longer than suggested time interval for two major fluctuations of Laurentide ice sheet. Urges that multiple age estimates from single sites should be used to assess chronology of glacier fluctuations.
