Record #104329:

Icebergs as tracers of water movement in the Bransfield Strait / P. Madejski, S. Rakusa-Suszczewski.

Title: Icebergs as tracers of water movement in the Bransfield Strait / P. Madejski, S. Rakusa-Suszczewski.
Author(s): Madejski, P.
Rakusa-Suszczewski, S.
Date: 1990.
In: Antarctic Science. (1990.), Vol. 2(3) (1990)
Abstract: Direction and velocity of iceberg drift were measured during 1987 by photogrammetry. Drift along southern coast of King George Island followed NE and ENE directions of wind and water currents. Highest mean velocities were recorded in March and April, and lowest from May to July.
