Record #104321:

Microbial ecology of soils from Wilkes Land, Antarctica: I. The bacterial population and its activity in relation to dissolved organic matter / Manfred Bölter.

Title: Microbial ecology of soils from Wilkes Land, Antarctica: I. The bacterial population and its activity in relation to dissolved organic matter / Manfred Bölter.
Author(s): Bölter, Manfred.
Date: 1990.
In: National Institute of Polar Research. Proceedings of the NIPR Symposium on Polar Biology. (1990.), Vol. 3 (1990)
Abstract: Bacterial populations from soil samples from near Casey Station analysed by epiflourescence microscopy, activity parameters determined by uptake and respiration of labelled glucose. Figures of these parameters discussed in relation to some other edaphic factors in order to describe microbial processes in this environment of the protoranker soils of coastal East Antarctica.
