| Abstract: | Workshop attended by 38 people from 17 countries involved in Antarctic research; these included scientists, science programme managers, national policymakers, and representatives of international governmental and non-governmental organisations. Discussions followed two main management themes: improving the information base available to those responsible for taking decisions and the consolidation and integration of policies and decisions applicable to Antarctic activities. Appendix 1 details ATS documentation and Appendix 2 outlines proposed documentation centre. |
