Record #104155:

Ice effects on hydraulics and fish habitat / George D. Ashton.

Title: Ice effects on hydraulics and fish habitat / George D. Ashton.
Author(s): Ashton, George D.
Date: 1990.
In: CRREL Special Report. (1990.), Vol. 90-8 (1990)
Abstract: Analyzes effects of floating ice on flow depths and velocities beneath. Data from gauging records for Platte River, Nebraska, are examined, and procedure to use results for habitat simulations during winter is suggested. Effects of partial cover by stationary ice cover and effects of coverage of ice on multiple channel flow distributions are analyzed.
