Record #104137:

Evidence of environmental change since the last glacial maximum inferred from chemical analysis of an ice core from Law Dome, Antarctica (abstract) / Neal W. Young, M. de Angelis, D. Davies.

Title: Evidence of environmental change since the last glacial maximum inferred from chemical analysis of an ice core from Law Dome, Antarctica (abstract) / Neal W. Young, M. de Angelis, D. Davies.
Author(s): Young, Neal W.
Angelis, M. de.
Davies, D.
Date: 1990.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1990.), Vol. 14 (1990)
Abstract: Concentration of major anions and cations measured on samples selected from ice core to give information on major environmental changes which have occurred from 26 to 6 ka BP. Chemical species can be divided into those from marine (Na and Mg) and continental (Al) sources. Methane sulphonic acid also determined; this has marine biogenic source and exhibits pattern which is generally unrelated to variations in main divisions. Oxygen isotope ratios provide additional data source.
Notes:
