Abstract: Advance and retreat of these two small valley glaciers in northern Sweden has been documented over past 100 years. Both advanced to maximum 20th century limits around 1916, but, in their subsequent retreat, Rabots glaciär has lagged behind Storglaciären by 10 years. Suggests this is due to differences in glacier dynamics and lower strain-rates.
