| Abstract: | Collection, processing and analysis of C- and X-band SAR data set for previously unmapped area, and generalized results on comparative ice information content of this data. Air survey conducted in March 1988. Results indicate C-band data better than X-band for quantitative characterization of various ice and iceberg parameters, including iceberg densities, size distributions, and ice-cover morphologies and dynamics. |
