Record #104026:

Coupling an energy balance snowmelt model to a watershed model / Danny Marks, Dennis P. Lettenmaier, Lance Vail.

Title: Coupling an energy balance snowmelt model to a watershed model / Danny Marks, Dennis P. Lettenmaier, Lance Vail.
Author(s): Marks, Danny.
Lettenmaier, Dennis P.
Vail, Lance.
Date: 1990.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1990.), Vol. 71(28) (1990)
Abstract: Generation of snowmelt is controlled by irregular spatial distribution of topography, and seasonal variation of micrometeorological parameters. Energy balance and snowmelt were calculated using three methods for American River basin watershed, Cascade Mountains, WA, for which topographic structure of basin was represented by 100 m digital elevation model.
Notes:

Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 71(28) :878 (1990).

Abstract of paper presented at the 1990 Western Pacific Geophysics Meeting, held at Kanazawa, Japan, 21-25 August 1990.

Keywords: 556 -- Hydrology.
556.51 -- River basins and watersheds.
