Record #103773:

Translated title: Preliminary results on the directions of ice flow in the Salluit region and of the Nuvilik lakes, new Quebec.
Author(s): Daigneault, Robert-André.
Date: 1990.
Language: French.
In: Geological Survey of Canada. Paper. (1990.), Vol. 90-1C (1990)
Abstract: Glacial striations and grooves, as well as streamlined landforms, record main phase of regional north-flowing ice, which presumably issued from Payne outflow centre (segment of Ancestral Labrador ice divide). Local evidence of subsequent ice-flow phases is also recorded. Glacial dispersal of boulders derived from Povungnituk Group rocks is associated with northward ice-flow phase.
