| Abstract: | Points out that limited data on Norse and Inuit individuals in late mediaeval and early modern Greenland indicate that both populations suffered from variety of serious medical conditions which in many cases would have led to early death. Thus there is insufficient proof for attributing extinction of Norse population to degeneration. |
