| Abstract: | Previous studies have described skuas as predators, scavengers and kleptoparasites; despite their opportunistic habits, they basically depend on few prey-species and feeding behaviour is strongly affected by presence of nearby penguin colonies. This study examines feeding habits and ecology when penguins are not in vicinity. |
