Record #103267:

Late Quaternary glacial history of the South Orkney Plateau, Antarctica / Margaret J. Herron, John B. Anderson.

Title: Late Quaternary glacial history of the South Orkney Plateau, Antarctica / Margaret J. Herron, John B. Anderson.
Author(s): Herron, Margaret J.
Anderson, John B.
Date: 1990.
In: Quaternary Research. (1990.), Vol. 33(3) (1990)
Abstract: Results of marine geological survey, summer 1985, with aim of establishing glacial setting of plateau during and since last glacial maximum. Evidence confirms that ice cap was grounded on plateau, as originally proposed by earlier workers; this is based on occurrence of glacial erosional surfaces and basal tills.
