| Abstract: | Supports, in greater detail, alternative view of earlier authors that channel shape assumed in Röthlisberger model is incorrect; conduits are broad and low rather than semi-circular. Good agreement between measured and observed pressures were obtained by assuming cross-sectional shape of conduits resembles space between arc of circle and its chord. |
