In: Holarctic Ecology. (1990.), Vol. 13(2) (1990)
Abstract: Fjord considered to be poor breeding habitat for this species compared to habitats investigated in Canada and other parts of Svalbard. Main reason is probably shallow snow depth and lack of structures around which snow can accumulate. Observations during spring of 1986. Number of seals inhabiting area during this period estimated to be approximately 125.
