Record #103080:

Evidence of ice movement over southwest Norway indicating an ice dome over the coastal district of west Norway / Karl Anundsen.

Title: Evidence of ice movement over southwest Norway indicating an ice dome over the coastal district of west Norway / Karl Anundsen.
Author(s): Anundsen, Karl.
Date: 1990.
In: Quaternary Science Reviews. (1990.), Vol. 9(1) (1990)
Abstract: Describes some Phase B ice-flow markers (striae, roches moutonnées, fluted sediments) in this area. Probably represents regional glacial phase. Discusses palaeoglaciological implications of markers, which suggest ice movement towards south-south-east. Most simply explained by building up of ice dome during Early Weichselian.
