Record #102937:
Sixty-four years of regular ozone measurements / E.L. Simmons.
Title: | Sixty-four years of regular ozone measurements / E.L. Simmons. |
Author(s): | Simmons, E. L. |
Date: | 1990. |
In: | Meteorological Magazine. (1990.), Vol. 119(1412) (1990) |
Abstract: | Brief account of the development of the Dobson ozone spectrophotometer which has been used for over 60 years to make world-wide measurements of atmospheric ozone amounts. These observations define the normal behaviour of ozone against which recent reductions, such as the Antarctic ozone hole, can be compared. |
Notes: | Meteorological Magazine. Vol. 119(1412) :53-57 (1990). |
Keywords: | 551.510.534 -- Ozone layer. 551.510.41 -- Atmosphere, chemical properties. 551.508.9 -- Meteorological instruments. 551.508.95 -- Atmosphere, measurement of composition. D -- Atmospheric sciences. (*7) -- Antarctic regions. |
