Arctic planetary boundary layer measurements by the NOAA P-3 aircraft during CEAREX / Bernard Walter, James E. Overland.
Title: | Arctic planetary boundary layer measurements by the NOAA P-3 aircraft during CEAREX / Bernard Walter, James E. Overland. |
Author(s): | Walter, Bernard. Overland, James E. |
Date: | 1990. |
In: | Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1990.), Vol. 71(2) (1990) |
Abstract: | Boundary-layer stack patterns were flown on 27 and 30 March 1989. Turbulence and flight-level measurements were made on both slow ascent/descent profiles and level legs to study coupling of atmosphere and sea ice. |
