| Abstract: | Primary objective of drift phase of 1988 Coordinated Eastern Arctic Experiment was to define mechanical behaviour of sea ice caused by interaction between ice floes. Local deformation was measured from 9 October to 15 November 1988. Presents preliminary results showing relative motion in local pack and approximate local strain field. |
