| Abstract: | Satellite observations of leads in sea ice. Two methods used for compiling distributions: (1) measurements made along line perpendicular to local orientation of lead and repeated approximately every 5 km within lead field, and (2) random field of transects placed over lead network and lead widths measured along each transect. |
