Abstract: Presents findings of Navigation Foundation investigation into Peary's claim to have reached the North Pole on 6 April, 1909. On basis of variety of evidence, including comparison of ocean-depth soundings recorded by expedition with modern profiles of Arctic Ocean floor and photogrammetric analysis of photographs taken near claimed position of Pole, Navigation Foundation upholds Peary's claim.
