In: Umeå University. Center for Arctic Cultural Research. Rapport. (1990.), Vol. 17 (1990)
Abstract: Terms for seal spear generally either refer to its sharp form or to its function as tool for beating. Different areas appear to have fixed terminology. Ethnological studies might show whether cultural differences are so great that terms are not easily borrowed from one area to another.
