Title: Livstegn fra 30 millioner års "bløde" bjergarter under Østgrønlands plateaubasalt / Ella Hoch, Lars Hamberg.
Translated title: Traces of life from 30 million years' "soft" rock types beneath East Greenland's plateau basalt.
Author(s): Hoch, Ella.
Hamberg, Lars.
Date: 1989.
Language: Danish.
In: Forskning i Grønland = Tusaat. (1989.), Vol. 1-2 (1989)
Abstract: Authors explain complex history of area and in particular of Pyramiden nunatak and Sediment Mountains, inland from Blosseville Coast, where they based their fieldwork. Sedimentological work on both found useful fossils of plants and animals for dating; lack of any skeletons on latter site was disappointment, but traces of invertebrata were helpful. Authors suggest that in such huge area there could be many remains missed. Fairytale Valley was good name. Rocks around campsite seemed to deter roaming polar bear.
