Long term variations of the water balance in Sweden - a preliminary study / Torbjörn Jutman, Sten Bergström, Bertil Eriksson.

Title: Long term variations of the water balance in Sweden - a preliminary study / Torbjörn Jutman, Sten Bergström, Bertil Eriksson.
Author(s): Jutman, Torbjörn.
Bergström, Sten.
Eriksson, Bertil.
Date: 1989.
Publisher: Helsinki: Valtion Painatuskeskus
In: Conference on Climate and Water, Helsinki, Finland, 11-15 September 1989, convened by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). (1989.), Vol. 1.
Abstract: Preliminary statistical analysis of records of precipitation, runoff and forest biomass is made in order to detect trends and interactions. Because of risk of inconsistencies in data, analysis is mainly restricted to period 1945-87. Results indicate possible increase in evapotranspiration due to increasing forest biomass, but further studies are needed before any definite conclusions can be drawn.
