Abstract: Reports revised orographic pattern of Arctic Ocean based on recent Soviet 10-year survey. These materials combined with precise definitions of submarine surfaces and their limits provide new understanding of Arctic basin morphology. Arctic basin comprises 3 major units: Eurasian sub-basin, Amerasian sub-basin (Canadian part), and Central Arctic area of oceanic rises, the latter comprising submerged continental part.
