Заснеженность льдов Тихоокеанского ледяного массива

Title: Заснеженность льдов Тихоокеанского ледяного массива
Title, transliterated: Zasnezhennostʹ lʹdov Tikhookeanskogo ledi︠a︡nogo massiva / A.M. Kozlovskiĭ, A.A. Romanov.
Translated title: Snow cover on the ice of the Pacific Ocean ice massif.
Author(s): Kozlovskiĭ, A. M.
Romanov, A. A.
Date: 1989.
Language: Russian.
In: Informat︠s︡ionnyĭ bi︠u︡lletenʹ Sovetskoĭ antarkticheskoĭ ėkspedit︠s︡ii. (1989.), Vol. 112 (1989)
Abstract: Based on information gathered on Soviet icebreaker Vladivostok's voyage in July-August 1985. Includes table of snow depths according to age--class of sea ice, varying from 5--10 cm on nilas to 40--100 cm on multiyear ice. Author rejects 3-part scale of snow depths conventionally used, and proposes alternative 3-part scale for Antarctic which takes into account common phenomenon of flooding of ice leading to slush formation. Translation in Polar Geography and Geology, 1989, Vol. 13, no. 3, p. 228-231.
