Record #101123:

Reevaluation of the Eocene ice-rafting record from subantarctic cores / Wuchang Wei.

Title: Reevaluation of the Eocene ice-rafting record from subantarctic cores / Wuchang Wei.
Author(s): Wei, Wuchang.
Date: 1989.
In: Antarctic Journal of the United States. (1989.), Vol. 24(5) (1989)
Abstract: Concludes that ice-rafted quartz in Eocene sediment cores is unlikely to be down-core contaminant from overlying Neogene sediment and suggests it is result of Eocene ice-rafting from west Antarctica, when Drake Passage was closed and patterns of water circulation were different from present.
