Record #101103:

Microfossil assemblages in "deforming till" from Upstream B, west Antarctica: implications for ice-stream flow models / Reed P. Scherer.

Title: Microfossil assemblages in "deforming till" from Upstream B, west Antarctica: implications for ice-stream flow models / Reed P. Scherer.
Author(s): Scherer, Reed P.
Date: 1989.
In: Antarctic Journal of the United States. (1989.), Vol. 24(5) (1989)
Abstract: Sediments underlying grounded ice were collected during 1988-89 field season. Ice sheet at drill site is 1030 m thick and glacier bed lies 644 m below sea level. Reports initial findings of diatom analysis with respect to flow models for Ice Stream B and discusses implications for Tertiary sedimentation.
