Abstract: Study of water mass structure and circulation features of Jan Mayen Current. Data from trough of Jan Mayen fracture zone suggest that interchange of deep and bottom water from Greenland and Norwegian seas via this trough is slow diffusive process and not active advective feature as previously thought.
