Abstract: 10- and 12-inch diameter steel plates were placed on permanently frozen silt and loaded by increments over 20- and 11-day periods, respectively. Results include deformation and strain vs time curves for each material under various loads, bearing pressure vs strain-rate information for each material, and isochrocurves of each material at different durations of loading time.
