2010 AGM Auction

Thanks to everybody for their interest. The auction raised £750 for the Friends of SPRI.

A painting in aid of The Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute by generous permission of the Artist, Rowan Huntley, Friends Artist in Residence 2010 aboard HMS Scott, the Royal Navy's survey ship in the Antarctic regions.

- Bids must be in UK Pounds
- Payment will be in UK pounds to the Friends account with Cambridge University
- The amount of the current leading bid will be posted on the Friends website at weekly intervals.
NB:This postal/email auction will be closed at midnight on Sunday 31st October 2010. Postal submissions received later than 2nd post on Monday 1st November 2010 will be rejected. Email submissions that have a despatch date after Midnight GMT on the closing date will not be counted. The organisers will normally select the highest bidder but reserve the right to select an alternative bidder in the event of non-payment. Notification of the winning bid will be despatched by email and First class post on Tuesday 2nd November. Payment must be received within five days of notification of successful bid.
We hope the presentation will be made at the Friends AGM in Cambridge on 13th November but if the winner is unable to attend, alternative arrangements will be made. Unless instructed to the contrary, we will announce the winners name at our AGM.
