Greenland 2000 - Tilman in a New Millennium	To sail from Scotland to the west coast of Greenland, and to climb some completely unclimbed rock walls.	£800
Greenland 2000 - Watkins Mountains. International Female Expedition	To make ascents of peaks from the Upper Woolley Glacier; To explore an un-named glacier and attempt ascents of surrounding peaks. First all female ascent of Gunnbjorns Fjeld.	£1200
British Lemon Mountains Expedition 2000	To climb remote and unclimbed mountains; to take 3 people on first expedition and to give a series to slide shows on return to youth groups.	£1600

British/American South Greenland 2000	To make a first ascent of Agdlerussakasit east wall and a general exploration of, and first ascents of, mountains bounded by Kangikitsoq Fjord and Kangersuneq Qingordleq Fjord.	£800
British Spitzbergen Crossing 2001	First traverse of the island of Spitzbergen by a British team from Verlegenhuken in the north to Øyrlandet in the south.	£1600
Evolutionary history of reproductive modes in the lichen-forming genus Porpidia (Ascomycota). (Edward Wilson Award)	To collect species of the genus and related allies to clarify the phylogenetic relationship and contribute to the knowledge of northern lichen flora.	£800
