This 32 piece chess set consists of a blue and Maple chess board and individually designed pieces based on polar animals. Each piece has been modelled and cast in resin then beautifully hand painted. Each piece has been selected from the Arctic and Antarctic, the ice extremities of the globe. The King is the Polar bear, the Queen - the Timber Wolf, the Bishop - the Walrus, the Knight - the Leopard Seal, the Rook - the Musk Ox, the Pawns - King Penguins.
