Activities: Tours of the Museum and Grytviken whaling station.
Collections: The former manager's villa at the Grytviken whaling station has been converted into a museum. Displays include: whaling and sealing, discovery and exploration, natural history, government, military history - including the war in 1982, social history, maritime history and Sir Ernest Shackleton, who is buried at Grytviken.
