William James Mills (1951-2004)

William died peacefully at his family home on Saturday 8 May 2004 after a long illness. William was Librarian of the Institute for 15 years, and will be remembered with affection and gratitude by both his SPRI colleagues and by the many national and international scholars that used the Institute's renowned polar library over the period of his tenure. We extend our sympathy to his family.
