| Full description: |
Whole: With a superb engraving of a woman in an elaborate promenade or outdoor dress and bonnet. In places, a pricked-in outline is visible. Her dome-shaped crinoline skirt is in flounced tiers and the coat/jacket/mantle is bordered with lace. The little bonnet with trimming under the brim reveals her waved hair with a centre parting. Its date is probably between 1850 and 1860. |
