67A.: A beautiful, stippled, hip-length picture of a woman in a slim, fitted dress. It dates from ca. 1875-85, a brief period when there was no bustle and which lasted rather longer in the USA than in Britian and Europe.
67B.: A sketchy and incomplete profile view of a man with a long, drooping moustache but no beard, a style which some men adopted during the 1880s. |
