53A.: A bird with a red neck is by a neat round nest in a bush and calling to three chicks.
53B.: A very pretty woman, her face framed in deep curls, wears an ankle length day dress of ca. 1830-36 with a double pelerine collar, its edging repeated in the hair ornaments. There is no evidence of pricking, but a similar motif is on a tooth at Mystic Seaport Museum, USA. |
