Carving (a) on base (b): Carving (a) of a Bird (goose) in ivory. Carved standing with a knob on the beak, square tail, and webbed feet. Mouth, eyes and nostrils incised and inlaid with black. Metal peg at centre of U-shaped black plastic? base (b) corresponds to hole on underside of bird between the legs. White paper label "14" on underside of bird and base.
