Full description:

Mittens: One pair. Flares towards straight upper edge at mid-forearm. Each is made from seal skin with the cream hair to the exterior. A single piece forms the back of the hand, palm and underside of the thumb. Most of the front and the top of the thumb are made from another piece of same. An additional piece is added to the front. 8 mm wide band of dark brown dehaired seal skin is sewn to the straight upper edge. Structural sewing is with sinew.
