Full description:

Stockings: One pair, knee-length. Each is made from three pieces of white duffle. Sole and upper foot are each made from a single piece. Leg is made from another piece of same seamed vertically along centre back. Sole and vertical seams at the heel and back of leg are sewn with double strand of white cotton thread in overcast stitch. Seams around sole and at heel are overlaid with green wool yarn applied in zig zag stitch. Seam around ankles is overlaid with purple wool yarn. Upper edge is bound with double strands of alternating green and orange wool yarn applied in cross stitch above four panels of embroidery in
