Full description:

Moccasin: Single, for left foot, round-toed type. Made from smoked tanned moosehide in two piece construction. A single piece forms the sole, rectangular tongue and upper seamed around the toe and half-way along outer foot with inverted T-shaped seam at the heel. Upstanding ankle lapels with serrated vertical front edges are made from another piece of same. Skin piping is inserted into the seam around the toe and part way along outer foot. Long tie of same is threaded through holes around ankles and heel and lower front edge of ankle lapels. Oval hole edge on tongue. "3" in blue ink inside ankle lapel; "100" in ink under tongue. Structural sewing is with white cotton thread. Evidence of wear on soles
