Full description:

Doll: Woman. Made of beige cotton fabric; stuffing unknown. Eyebrows, eyes, nose and mouth are applied with blue thread. Hair of cream fibre? is wound into a knot at the top of the head and secured with a wrapping of cream and blue thread. She is wearing a waist-length shirt with upstanding collar of printed red, green and cream floral fabric. Band (12 mm wide) of blue fabric overlays straight bottom edge. Calf-length trousers are made from dark blue coarsely woven wool fabric over a grey fabric lining. Trousers are decorated with vertical strip of red dehaired seal skin overlaid with strip of white and light blue dehaired seal skin. Knee-high boots are each made from a single piece of pink dehaired seal skin seamed vertically down centre front and under foot. Band of black velvet around straight upper edge of left boot; missing from right boot. Structural sewing is with white cotton thread.
