Title: Reel, line, hook
Description: Reel, line, hook, for cod fishing. Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland), before 1933. Reel consists of a central wooden handle. Two wood cross-bars with upturned ends are inserted into holes in handle and secured with wood wedges and metal nails. Line of twisted rope is wound around cross-bars. Three barbed metal hooks are tied together with wrapping of metal wire. Ends of hooks are inserted into hole in head of fish-shaped stone sinker. Twisted string is threaded through hole in tail end of sinker and through loop at end of line.
